I’m planning the mount Shasta trip for the weekend of July 12, 08 (that is Friday July 11th through Sunday July 13th). The plan is to drive up Friday night, spend the night and then on Saturday hiking up to ~10,000ft-11,000ft and sleeping. And then summiting and returning home on Sunday.
Due to the lack of snow we will not be doing the Avalanche Gulch route (it’s the most popular route but it’s all scree when there isn’t any snow). Instead we’ll be doing the Wintun Ridge route. The below photo shows the route
If some people don’t want to go on July 12th I’m also game for another trip Friday August 8th through Sunday August 10th.
